Environment action

Did you spot the notice on this week’s pewsheet?

’Do support the Big British Spring Clean 15-31 March by picking up a bag of litter during that period’

Two members of the Priory’s Environment Group certainly did! Armed with a black bag and a specialist litter ‘picker-upper’ they walked a mile along the alleyways and streets of Malvern and came back with half a bag of grot.

Bottles, bottles, lots of cans, crisp packets, sweet packets and plastic bags, were all gathered, ready to be recycled or disposed of responsibly. And Malvern’s looking much better for it.

Why don’t you join them, too? Could you make your patch more attractive and safer for wildlife as the glories of God’s Creation burst forth once more this spring?

Send your Big British Spring Clean pics (if you’re happy for them to go online, no names required, just you and your litter collection!) to philippa@greatmalvernpriory.org.uk and we’ll put together a photo collage.
