First anniversary celebrations

Time has flown…Roger our Vicar celebrated his first anniversary as the Incumbent of St Mary and St Michael, Great Malvern (aka The Priory) with Rachel, surrounded by members of the congregation.

Real coffee, after the 10.30am service, was created in a battalion of congregational cafetieres and replenished by an enthusiastic team of runners, to universal approval and delight.

Roger was presented with the must-have item for all incumbents, a ‘Vicar Relaxation Pack’; a bag full of chocolate and crispy treats and much, much more, all totally unsuited to the season of Lent. Rachel nearly disappeared behind a giant bouquet of spring blooms.
A multi-leaved card signed by almost all the congregation spoke of appreciation of Roger’s ministry.
