Juggling lesson

You might be forgiven for thinking that the nave floor levelling is the only thing happening at the Priory at the moment…but you’d be far from the truth!

Saturday saw the culmination of months of planning as over sixty women enjoyed a relaxed and convivial time together, enjoying a delicious breakfast served by the trusty Priory volunteers.

But it was much more than breakfast. The Revd Becky Elliot from Holy Trinity and St James’ shared her life as ‘the wife, the mother, the dog collar’. Complete with juggling balls, Becky regaled the appreciative audience with funny and thought-provoking tales of how she juggled her very full life.

As Becky invited the everyone to share their own experiences of juggling and how they found relaxation, the room filled with animated conversation. Friends shared their experiences and new friendships were made, as yet more tea, coffee and croissants were provided.

Becky’s guide to finding relaxation in a world of constant juggling? A weekly day off and spending time with friends.

The next Women’s Breakfast will be held later this year. Check out the page on this site for details.
