Great Malvern Priory Choristers in Concert

A wonderful evening of music, food and fellowship was enjoyed by all at the the annual Priory Choristers in Concert.

The Priory Junior Choristers, from the youngest to those about to graduate to university (the Royal College of Music, no less) displayed their amazing musical talent.

Held this year at St Edmund’s Hall, Malvern College - ‘thank you, again, Malvern College’ - the choristers were treated to the use of beautiful Steinway Grand Piano. The audience of over 100 enjoyed works by Saint-Saens, Wedgwood, Gilbert and Sullivan, Adele and much more.
As ever the individual performances were rounded off with a rousing group rendition, this year of ‘Jonah Man Jazz’.

The final round of applause came to a close and everyone piled their plates high at the fantastic finger buffet, prepared by Priory volunteers. Supper was swiftly followed by the ever-popular raffle, which helped to swell the funds to support the next Annual Junior Chorister Camp, which is planned for the autumn.

If you know of a young person who’d like to join the Junior Choristers, do get in touch. It’s great fun and we’d love to hear from you - new members are always welcome.
