Make a peg doll of yourself and place it on the Nativity Scene, to Join the Christmas Story.

Everything’s provided for this free activity, in the North Transept of the Priory, during Priory opening hours.

You can collect your peg doll to take home at the Epiphany Blessing Service at 3pm on 4th January. Roger, the Vicar, will bless all the peg dolls at this 20 minute family-friendly service.

There’ll be free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits after the service while you wait your turn to locate your peg doll(s) amongst the crowds now on the Nativity Scene.

After the service, the remaining peg dolls will be de-blutacked and sorted numerically into boxes of maybe 150, to enable easier collection. This may take a couple of days… They’ll then remain in church, available for collection during normal opening hours, until 31st January, after which they’ll be reconditioned for their next appearance.
