The Wolmirstedt connection

Epiphany brought unexpected delights to coffee after the 10.30am service at the Priory.

A large and heavy box, addressed to the Priory had been delivered to one of the Wolmirstedt-Priory partnership team, and a rapid translation of the customs label revealed it be be full of Good Things.

Totally on trend, Roger, the Vicar, unboxed it live at the 10.30 to the delight and amusement of the congregation in person and on-line, very effectively juggling box, lectern and scissors. It was full of German goodies - cookies, biscuits, marzipan. The coffee rota folk set a table after the service and all enjoyed the delicious flavours of a German Christmas.

The Stollen was held back…for coffee after the Candlemas Partnership Service, where a message from the Pastor of St Katharina’s, Wolmirstedt was read to the Priory congregation. We pray for our fellow Christians in Wolmirstedt and the Magdeburg Diocese.
