The answer’s always ‘Yes’

‘Yes’ if you enjoy chilling with friends
‘Yes’ if you’re partial to slices of gigantic pizza
‘Yes’ if you want to be admitted as a Junior Chorister to the Priory Choir.

‘When I met the choristers before the service, I told them ‘The answer’s always yes’’ explained Roger at the start of the 10.30am service.
It was a wonderful celebration as the two newest Priory Junior Choristers made their promises to Roger, supported by Piers, the Director of Music. The Head Chorister then vested them with their white collars, recognising them as full members of the Choir, to a warm round of applause from the congregation.

Some of the Junior Choristers are also members of the Priory Youth Group - but it’s open to anyone of high school age.

Last Friday the Group gathered for their monthly meeting in the Lyttelton Rooms.

To chill. The play table tennis. The play Nintendo. To do crafts. To take part in an ad-hoc capital city quiz. And to eat pizza. No ordinary pizza this, though! Malvern’s finest, delivered from the Pizzeria just around the corner. And ‘super-sized’ might be the correct adjective. But the enormity was absolutely not offputting to the youngsters who rapidly and appreciatively demolished the cheesy, tomato-y delight.

Then a short reflection, on Artemis 2, and back to more ‘being with friends, old and new’ before the Group finished at 9pm.

Hope to see you soon!
