Summer Priory Super Saturdays!
What’s free and runs every Saturday in August?
If you’ve been listening to BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester you may well know the answer, as Hilary, who heads up the Priory’s Children’s and Families work, enthusiastically shared all the details live on air a couple of Saturdays ago.
When the school holidays stretch seemingly forever into the summer (to parents at least…), finding free activities for youngsters can be a challenge. The Priory’s Super Saturdays appear to have hit the spot, with the numbers of children coming along increasing week on week. Both laughter and concentration happen in equal measure whilst cutting and gluing (of all sorts of sparkly things) produce beautiful creations.
Meanwhile there are free refreshments for adults and children alike, served by the Priory’s enthusiastic catering volunteers. Guided tours are also available (donations are welcomed) and some Saturdays also include Tower Tours (see here for details) which do incur a small charge.
So do check out Priory Super Saturdays this August, running between 10am and 4pm and join in the fun.
