Children Welcome!

Summer’s here…school’s out…the weather’s being British…where better to go to dodge the heatwaves/torrents than the cool, dry, peace of the Priory?

It’s certainly been a draw for families with youngsters who come to enjoy the toys and books in the Children’s Space, which now also has a very popular new toy kitchen. And each week, Hilary, the Priory’s Children and Families Co-ordinator adds a new themed craft for children to get creative with. This week it’s a colour, cut and paste multi-storey ice cream cone…next week who knows? But it’ll certainly be fun.

This week also sees the launch of the brand new Priory Junior Visitors’ Book. Why should adults have all the fun when it comes to Visitors’ Books?! So here’s a place for junior visitors to leave a drawing to share with others… pencils, crayons and paper are all provided. It’s been exciting to see the Junior Visitors’ Book take off, with beautiful drawings inspired by Bible stories and God’s creation filling its first few pages.

If history’s your thing, then there are a range of different quizzes to explore the Priory’s amazing heritage

So if you’re visiting Malvern with youngsters, do drop into the Priory - the Childrens’ Space is open whenever the Priory is. Enjoy the Children’s Space during a service, when grown-ups can follow along on the screen…and help fill the first volume of the Priory Junior Visitors’ Book
