| Report of the Great YOMP Challenge 2009
The Red Rockets (Dion, Morgan, Rebecca and Peter) were the victorious team in the Great YOMP (Youth of Malvern Priory) Challenge on 17th October.
This battle of skill, knowledge, dexterity and even a little cunning involved identifying tunes from only a few notes, telling truth from bluff, moving Smarties with a straw, building a tower able to support an egg using only spaghetti and play-dough, answering questions with numerical answers and identifying pictures of people and places.
Would you recognise the National Anthem from the first 3 notes? Can you tell your Barak Obama, from your Lewis Hamilton and your Tiger Woods? Or even more problematic your Prince William from your Prince Harry!
A great evening was had by all in the Guesten Room with a bring-and-share meal, and eager competitors from school years 4-9+.
