CHAIRS! Last chance to have a piece of Priory history
in your own home! A donation of £10 - £15 per chair
is all that is required to purchase one of the old

FRIENDS OF MALVERN PRIORY please look in your

PRAYER LETTERS are in pigeon holes and spare
copies at the back of the church.
PRIORY TOTS for pre-school children plus parents/
grandparents, this coming Thursday (4th March and
first Thursday of each month) in the Children's Space
at 10.00am for about an hour. Meet for fellowship,
coffee and a short Bible story/ prayer/ song. More

LIFEPATH VOLUNTEERS If you might be able to help
with this year's Lifepath, 21-25 June, do take info from
the back of the church and/or speak to Mary Barr.
AUTHORISED LAY MINISTRY The Diocesan scheme
to train Evangelists, Pastoral Workers,
Administrators, Children's and Youth Workers, and
Worship Leaders is approaching its second year. An
introductory meeting for those who would like to find
out more will be held at the Old Palace on Monday 1st
March from 7.30pm to 9pm. Please contact John or
Mary Barr or the Churchwardens if interested.
LUNCHTIME MUSIC in the Priory. On Thursday 11th
March the girls from Malvern St James, conducted by
Lynne Lindner, will be singing and playing as part of
the Spring Lunch Box series. Bring your own lunch at
12.30pm, concert starts at 1pm. No charge, everyone
welcome.
HOT POT SUPPER AND QUIZ Saturday 13th March,
7pm in Lyttelton Rooms, £3.50 adult, £7 family ticket.

LEE ABBEY 2nd-4th July. 90 Priory members are now
booked. Just a handful of places remain, so if you are
still thinking about it please think fast! If you would
like to come but the cost inhibits you, please have a

HELP NEEDED. Calling able bodied people who can
help as part of a team to set the church up for Sunday
Services when required on a Saturday. This will only

ANNIVERSARY. Ken and Thelma Borley celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary on 25th February and
thank everyone for their good wishes.

WIDER CHURCH AND COMMUNITY SERVICE:
COMMUNITY ACTION SUNDAY TEA CLUB is for
older people on their own on Sundays, 3 - 4.30pm at
Lansdowne Methodist Church. If you would like to
come, or know someone who would like to come, or

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN MALVERN Lent Mission
Evenings. Come and hear how Malvern churches are
supporting mission work. The next meeting is on
Tuesday 2nd March, 7.30 pm in Guesten Room,
Lyttelton Well and will feature some of the African
continent countries. Future dates are: Wednesday 10th
March (7.30 pm Malvern Link URC - S. America &
Peru) and Thursday 18th March (7.30 pm Lansdowne
Methodist Church - Thailand). There will be artefacts,
music and light refreshments appertaining to the
countries featured.
ECUMENICAL LENT LUNCHES Fridays from 12
noon to 1 pm, Christ Church Hall.
WARM DAY Tuesday 2nd March 10am-3pm at
Holland House and 7.30pm at Hallow church. Nigel
Tween, Principal of Regents Theological College will
speak on "Ritual or Reality?" £13 incl lunch. Book from

WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER. Friday 5th
March at Holy Trinity, Link Top at 2pm and at the
Friends Meeting House, Orchard Road at 7.30pm. The
speaker at both services will be Canon Stella Vernon.
The service this year is prepared by the women of
Cameroon with the theme 'Let everything that has
breath, praise the Lord'. If you wish to see slides of
Cameroon these will be shown at 12.30pm in Holy
Trinity Lower Parish Hall. All welcome.
"SPRING INTO LIFE" MALVERN, 1-8 March, Prayer
leaflets available at back of church.
RADIO 4 APPEAL by Pam Rhodes on Sunday 7th
March, 7.55am & 9.26pm, for the Arthur Rank Centre
promoting country Church and village life, plus its
support for organisations helping country folk in need.
Also 11th March 3.27pm and online that week.
CHURCH MISSION SOCIETY. There will be a coffee
morning in aid of CMS on Saturday 13th March 10am-
12noon at 25 Richmond Road, Malvern Link. Cakes,
preserves, books, gifts, bric-a-brac, bring and buy and
raffle. All welcome.
