JUST 10 A 10.30am sermon series on the 10
Commandments, based on J John’s material, will begin
at Candlemas (29th Jan) a nd continue through to Palm
Sunday (1st April). Several Priory House Groups will
follow this series. Details of themes are in the
February Priory Magazine. There will also be the
opportunity to see J John’s DVD presentations on
Wednesdays from 12.30pm, starting 1st February, in
the Choir Vestry.

collected may be returned to the sender.
VOLUNTEERS PLEASE A few more volunteers would
be very welcome on the team that put up the stage
and move the chairs before Altogether Worship
services. If you could spare just an hour on a Saturday
afternoon, once a month (or less often if more people
volunteer), please see Peter Babb.
LUNCH BOX on Thursday 2nd February in the Priory
will be a lunchtime concert by musicians from
Malvern College. Do invite friends and come along
with your lunch at 12.30 (tea and coffee available) -
the concert begins at 1 pm for about half an hour.

REBUILDING, REBELLION AND ROSES On Saturday
4th February all YOMP Sleuths (in school years 4 and
above) are invited to return to 1461 in the Priory and
attempt to solve an exciting medieval mystery. Join us
between 6 and 8pm and plea se bring a contribution to
the feast. Return your consent forms to Sarah Guy or
Claire Darnborough.
POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS ACTION WEEK is
marked from 29th January (see SRAG Board in south
aisle). On 5th February Jonathan Greenwood of the
Foyer and Festival Housing will speak at the 6.30
service and after the 10.30 and 6.30 services there
will be a retiring collection, to be shared between
Malvern Hills Foyer and Maggs Day Centre,
Worcester. Please give generously.
MESSY CHURCH invitations are at the back of
church. Please pick one up if you could personally ask
a family you know. Please pray about this opportunity
to invite people on 5th February to what is guaranteed
to be a fun, warm, informal and happy occasion.
HELPERS REQUIRED please to clear up after Messy
Church on 5th February from 5 pm for ¾ hour -
mostly washing up to relieve the volunteers. Also 2
more volunteers needed for the catering team (no

MESSY CHURCH APPE AL We would be very grateful

floating candles (they can be partly used), small glass
jars with screw lids, crystal beads ( ie from broken
necklace ), pieces of coloured tissue paper, glass

FOOD DONATIONS The list of provisions required
to provide tea at Messy Church on 5th February is
now available at the back of the church. Please take a
look and pledge your donations as soon as possible.
PALS SPECIAL MEETING at 10.30am Saturday 18th
February in the Priory. This is for the PALs to meet
with the newly formed Pastoral Care Team and John
Barr. Coffee will be served at 10.30am. Please put the
date in your diary and a lso check your pigeonhole.
WALCHER CANDLESTAND T- lights are lit from the
large candle by the candlestand. If you would like to
donate a large plain white candle please hand it into
the vestry. Thank you.
FAWLTY STABLES was filmed on the Winter Open
Day and is available on DVD for a donation to the
'Radio Mics Fund' that Sketch Club has launched.
Tony Fuller has put it together very cleverly despite
the constraints of the 'live' performance. Please speak
to him or Christina Walker for further info.
A PHOTO DIRECTORY for the members of the
Priory is being compiled. Sylviane Outram is taking
pictures for this; if you want to be included (face and
name only) and she has not yet approached you,
please find her and ask. The directory will be sold to
recognised Priory members only - it will not contain
contact details, its purpose is for social recognition!
HOLIDAY FOR CHERNOBYL CHILDREN 13th June to 11th
July Host families are urgently needed for 10
year olds. The children usually stay in two homes ie
