Music in the Priory

There are a variety of styles used in worship at the Priory. These are supported by four music making groups.

The Director of Music is David Iliff.

"Without music worship rarely soars"

A sentiment expressed on some orders of service for evening prayer.

The Priory Choir consists of adults and children and the Priory Singers is a mixed voice adult choir.

The Praise Group is a group of singers and instrumentalists who complement the choirs and lead worship in informal services.

The orchestra is a lighthearted group of all ages which plays mainly for Altogether worship. Seen on the left after one such service. If you can play a musical instrument you can join the orchestra.
