LIFE EVENTS.
BAPTISM, also known as
Christening, is a tremendously
important step in the life of a
child or an adult. A baptism is a
time of great joy for family and
friends. It is also an opportunity
for the church to support and
welcome the candidates as
they begin their Christian
journey. Please look at the
article on the Church of England
web site (click baptism) for a
detailed background before you
Contact Us.
Baptisms take place in our
normal services, generally at
the Sunday morning 10.30 a.m.
service.

CONFIRMATION is the way we make for ourselves the promises
made on our behalf if we were baptised as babies.
If you haven’t already been baptised, then that can happen at
around the same time as Confirmation.
It's a wonderful opportunity for anyone (aged from about 10 - 100)
to say their own public 'YES' to being a Christian for life!
Confirmation services for our local church area
(Deanery) are held in the Autumn at one of the Anglican churches in Malvern.
Because you make important promises when you’re Confirmed, you
need to know what it’s all about. Click confirmation to see the Church of England article and when you want to find out more Contact Us. (If you are under 18, please ask for the agreement of your
parent/guardian.)

WEDDINGS: Great Malvern
Priory is a wonderful and
inspiring place to begin your
married life and we hope we
can help to make your wedding
very special and your marriage
lifelong. It is important to plan
and to carefully prepare for this
event.
We recommend that you read
the article on the Church of
England web site (click weddings) for
a detailed background and pray
together about your decision
before you contact us. Then
please Contact Us.

FUNERALS: Our clergy are
privileged to conduct the
funerals and celebrate the lives
of many of our community each
year. The Priory is an ancient
place of prayer and hope and is
a great comfort to families at a
difficult time. We are also very
happy to conduct services for
people with significant links to
the town, both present or in the
past. Please look at the Church
of England website (click funerals)
for more background
information and then Contact Us.
Our Clergy would consider it an
honour to visit a loved one who
is drawing close to the end of
their life, to pray and to bring
comfort. They are also available
to visit confidentially and talk
about your own situation.
